MY IBIZA COUNTRY KITCHEN

Intimate lunches in a typical Ibizan rural house near San Carlos. The food is prepared by CookIbiza, using seasonal and local ingredients. Foods are cooked slowly on a traditional wood oven and all condiments are homemade. Their previous menu included home made breads, homemade fennel chutney, lamb roasted on an open fire, homemade apple crumble and custard. This is a rural and rustic experience. €30 per person including wine.

VINO & CO IBIZA

Run by a family of Dutch wine merchants, Vino & Co transform their wine shop near Sant Jordi for a monthly supper club. Different chefs are brought in to cook a range of cuisines each time. The most recent menu offered abundant shared starters (ceviche, iberico tempura, pate) follow by a fish course, then a meat course and dessert (pan con chocolate – with a twist). Vino & Co suggest wines to match the food, or if you prefer something else, in their shop you will be spoilt for choice. The last event had a great atmosphere, spontaneous dancing and even a song from one guest. €25-30pp + wine.

AMORO FOOD IBIZA

Amoro supper club focuses on cooking with love and offers Mediterranean and North African cuisine. The supper club setting is in the garden of an Ibizan country house near San Rafael. Lio

Located in Ibiza, Lío Ibiza is part of Pacha Group. Since opening its doors to the public in 2011, it’s become an essential nightclub during summer nights on the island with its retractable roof protecting them from both sun and rain.

Diners can choose to eat dinner while watching different types of performances on stage or just stay for drinks at their table overlooking the sea. Either way, Lío Ibiza’s 360 experience is sure to make you never want to leave!

Top Beach Clubs

Blue Marlin

Renowned for its parties, the Blue Marlin beach club has been on the scene for a long time, and it’s so popular with the wealthy (and often famous) set that it runs a water-taxi service to ferry guests to and from luxury yachts. Found at the back of the beach on Cala Jondal, this is the ultimate place to have a full day-to-night beach club experience. Fairly chilled by day, but with the music cranking up as the afternoon wears on, the party scene is usually fairly well underway on the terrace before the sun has even set, and then it carries on until the early hours in the indoor club, with sets from famous international DJs. Food and drinks are expensive but excellent (particularly the cocktails); the menu is generally Mediterranean/Asian fusion, and they serve very good sushi.

El Chiringuito

In terms of beach clubs, El Chiringuito ticks all the right boxes, and is equally fun day or night. With a spectacular location on Es Cavallet beach, an authentic beach-club aesthetic of natural wood and white fabrics, a great menu and great service, there’s very little not to like. Even your kids will be happy, as there’s a top-notch kids’ menu and the chance to get creative at the Little Chiringuito. The bar list is extensive, and the food is excellent, from breakfast and lunch to dinner or snacks, whether you’re eating in the restaurant or on the beach. The large comfy beds on the beach directly in front of the club aren’t cheap, but they come with towel service and can be reserved. Valet service, in-house DJs and a chi-chi boutique top off the experience.

Amante

In an idyllic setting, nestled in the cliffs above the beach and overlooking Sol d’en Serra bay, Amante beach club is a great place to while away a day or an evening. Luxury daybeds (bookable online) with waiter service and picture-perfect sea views mean you’ll find it hard to move, but if you fancy a break from sunbathing, the restaurant serves excellent Mediterranean food and has an extensive wine and cocktail menu. Yoga followed by a healthy buffet breakfast is offered in the mornings, while after sundown, the club makes the perfect setting for a romantic fine-dining experience. If watching a film under the stars tickles your fancy, Amante also hosts movie nights with beanbags, cava and popcorn.

Nikki Beach

The Nikki Beach brand is synonymous with a high-energy, luxurious and overtly sexy celebrity playground-type beach club, and the Ibiza version doesn’t disappoint. With a glorious beachfront location, a fantastic pool and trademark white beds and blue towels, this club plays host to a series of glamorous events and VIP parties over the summer season. The drinks menu is excellent (but not cheap), and you can expect pumping music, gym-honed bodies and endless bottles of fizz being consumed. The seafood, and in particular the sushi, is very good, and there are usually themed barbecues, brunches and sushi nights throughout the week.

Beachouse

Located on Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza’s biggest beach, Beachouse may not be as well established as some of the other beach clubs, but in terms of popularity, you would never know it. This boho-luxe beach club has lots to offer, and it’s easy to see why it has many repeat customers. The rustic Italian food is excellent; tables, sofas and daybeds all have lovely sea views, and the setting is magnificent day or night. There is a small boutique that continues the bohemian theme, and if you need a break from your kids, there is a dedicated kids’ area where they can get involved with some arts and crafts.

Sunset Ashram

A renowned place to watch the sunset, Sunset Ashram is on an idyllic unspoiled beach and has a resident DJ playing music throughout the day and guest DJs playing sunset sessions. Relaxed and unpretentious, the bar is on a rock that divides the beach, with seating under rustic beach umbrellas, and the restaurant serves very tasty Mediterranean, Indian and Japanese food. If you want to come and enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun go down, it’s best to call ahead and reserve a table as it gets very busy later in the day.

Cotton Beach Club

Whitewashed to Balearic perfection, Cotton Beach Club positively gleams in the sunshine, in its prime location overlooking Cala Tarida. With the obligatory comfy white daybeds and gazebos, attentive beach service and two restaurants with spectacular sea views, the club has your chilled-out beach club experience all sewn up. The terrace restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine, while the rooftop focuses on Oriental flavours. Both have fantastic views of the sunset, and the cocktails are sublime.

Nassau Beach Club

Striking the perfect balance between barefoot-chic and glitz and glamour, Nassau has become the beach club of choice for Ibiza’s in-crowd. It has a range of amenities on offer, so you will surely find something to suit everyone in your charter party, and it’s conveniently located on one of Ibiza’s buzziest beaches,  Playa d’en Bossa.

Beso Beach

Just across the water on Ibiza’s sister island of Formentera, Beso Beach offers a relaxed ambience with stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea.

With a dedicated tender service on hand to transport guests arriving by sea ashore, it’s a convenient and welcoming venue for those cruising through the Balearics on a private yacht, and a popular hangout for visiting A-Listers.

Beso Beach has gained a following for the quality of its cuisine, too, based on traditional Basque and Mediterranean culinary traditions.

The restaurant is a typically sociable and informal affair. After your meal, head to the beach at Illetes, which has been named one of the best in Spain, and relax with a glass or two of chilled Spanish wine.

Eden Ibiza is a staple of the nightlife scene in Ibiza dating back decades while still having state-of-the-art sound and big-name performers. This club opened in 1999, but it is constantly upgrading its systems to keep up with the rising demand for quality sound and experiences.

Some of the biggest names in music have performed at this club, including artists like Luciano, Markus Schulz and Lady Gaga. You can enjoy the convenience of quite a few different bars inside the club as well. It’s located on the east side of Port de Sant Antoni.

Swag Ibiza Club

Swag Ibiza Club has a relaxed dress code that lets you wear whatever you think is comfortable while dancing to hip-hop and R&B music. As Ibiza gained notoriety for its nightlife, this club made a point to stand apart with a lax dress code to promote accessibility for everyone.

Instead of EDM like in most local clubs, the music here has an urban flair centered around hip-hop and R&B. You can hear it across several dance floors and 3 V.I.P. neighborhoods. Live music is common as well. You’ll find this club north of the main beach in Ibiza Town.

DC10

DC10 is one of the oldest clubs on the island and is known throughout the world for its no-holds-barred approach to dance club operations. Established in 1999, this club has been at the center of the underground music scene ever since hosting upcoming artists, many of whom have made it big.

The atmosphere at this club is intoxicating, as it’s one of the defining hedonistic nightclubs that Ibiza has become so well known for. It’s located in an old airplane hanger just a short distance east of Aeroport d’Eivissa, so it can be one of the first places you go on the island.

Lolas Club Eivissa

Lolas Club Eivissa is a legendary club for the LGBTQ community in Ibiza where you can enjoy electronic dance music in a small underground interior. This club gets particularly popular in the early morning hours when the local bars close, but you’ll find plenty of fun during all open hours.

Events are common here, such as the electronic Frigay event that happens every week. Keep in mind that this is a late-hours club that opens around midnight. You can get to this club in Ibiza Town just north of the Castle of Ibiza.
