DAY #1 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe Victoria Falls River Lodge
A scheduled flight takes you to Victoria Falls International Airport in Zimbabwe. Here you’ll be met and driven to Victoria Falls River Lodge, situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River – so close to Victoria Falls one can see the spray in the distance!

DAY #2 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe Victoria Falls River Lodge
Join your guide and head out in a game-viewing vehicle to explore the 150,000 acres that make up the Zambezi National Park. DAY #3 - Chobe River, Botswana Zambezi Queen
A road transfer takes you to the Chobe River, where you’ll cruise in style aboard the Zambezi Queen. This luxury houseboat feels like a floating hotel, its 14 air-conditioned suites each with their own balcony and uninterrupted river views. Spot wildlife or see a fish eagle take flight – all while relaxing on your king-size bed.
DAY #4 - Chobe River, Botswana Zambezi Queen
During Botswana’s dry season the Chobe River attracts Africa’s greatest elephant herds: hundreds of elephant can be seen, along with buffalo, hippo, giraffe and (occasionally) lion. Smaller safari boats get you up close to the wildlife, while other popular activities include tiger fishing, bird watching or local village visits.
Days are flexible on a houseboat: keen photographers can start early to catch that golden dawn glow while those in holiday mode can opt for a lie in. In the evenings sit down to an excellent three-course dinner, then after a nightcap at the bar return to your suite to drift off to sleep to the soft grunt of hippo.
DAY #5 - Linyanti, Botswana Kings Pool
Enjoy a morning cruise during breakfast as you do your last bit of animal spotting. You’re then be taken by boat to the Namibian Immigration Office and, once you’ve had your documents stamped, transferred to the Kasane Immigration Office in Botswana, and driven to Kasane International Airport.
Leaving the river, you fly south to the wild and game-rich Linyanti Region. Kings Pool overlooks the oxbow-shaped Lagoon and Linyanti River system. Activities include day and night game drives, walks, and nearby hides, ideal for photographing birds and wildlife. In the dry season, guests can spend their siesta watching game come down to drink at the unique underground hide, where the water is at eye level. Seeing elephant feet and trunks almost within touching distance while safely inside is an experience that transcends that of an ordinary safari.
DAY #6 - Linyanti, Botswana Kings Pool
Join your guide on twice daily game drives, morning and afternoon game drives are offered in open 4×4 Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of seven people, allowing each guest a ‘window’ seat. Night drives with spotlights allow you to find those nocturnal animals you wouldn’t see during the day.
On request, nature walks with skilled, armed guides are wonderful ways of getting close to nature and observing the smaller things you miss when travelling by vehicle.
There are two hides in the vicinity of Kings Pool from which to view and photograph animals and birds. One is located at the western end of camp and the other is an original underground hide, with the water at eye level.
DAY #7 - Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana Mombo Camp
Next it’s a short flight down to Moremi Game Reserve for a three-night stay at Mombo Camp. Located just off the northern tip of Chief’s Island, the largest landmass in the Okavango, Mombo is considered the most fertile area in the Delta, with its mix of habitats attracting large herds followed by numbers and varieties of predators.
The recently-rebuilt camp maintains the integrity of its pristine environment through the use of natural materials, minimal human footprint. Elevated on wooden decks beneath towering shade trees, Mombo overlooks a floodplain teeming with game.
DAY #8 - Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana Mombo Camp
Game drives via open 4×4 Land Rovers each accommodate a maximum of six or seven guests, allowing each guest a ‘window’ seat. Leopard, spotted hyaena, large herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, blue wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra and more abound, while cheetah and wild dog sometimes move through the area. It is here that black and white rhino were first reintroduced into the Delta, to be seen occasionally by a lucky few.
DAY #9 - Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana Mombo Camp
Long known as “the Place of Plenty,” Mombo boasts enormous concentrations of plains game and predators and is considered to be one of the best areas for game viewing in Africa.

DAY #10 - Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana Mombo Camp
In the morning you’re driven to the lodge’s private airstrip for your flight to Maun International Airport, where you’ll connect with your onward travel arrangements back to Johannesburg.
